ECS Order Manager integrates order management, business process management (BPM) and enterprise service bus (ESB) software components into a service oriented architecture (SOA) allowing organizations to seamlessly fulfill customer orders. ECS Order Manager addresses the problems confronted by Service Aggregators whose fulfillment process involves multiple 3rd parties such as credit card companies, wireless phone service content or SAAS enabled software (for example, to provision a new User).

ECS Order Manager can integrate with your software modules to provide support for user account creation, license management, configuring new software instances, and even receive billing events that can be used by billing platform. ECS Order Manager services provide an ideal platform to build self-service web sites so that customers can manage their own subscriptions.

ECS Order Manager in a Wireless Phone Content Provider Environment

Wireless phone content providers allow its customers to add different types of content to their phones on demand. The wireless content provider often needs to integrate to 3rd party content providers to fulfill the requests from their customers. These 3rd party organizations expose APIs that are used to manage their services. For example, when a customer orders a ringtone supplied by a 3rd party, the wireless content provider must be able to use the API to fulfill the order. ECS Order Manager allows the wireless content provider to integrate their fulfillment process with the 3rd party API providing a seamless fulfillment process.
